One of the most commonly used types of door locks is the deadbolt lock. Deadbolt locks offer excellent security as they cannot be easily forced open using any external force. They consist of a solid metal bolt that extends deep into the door frame, making them extremely difficult to pick or manipulate. Deadbolt locks come in various designs, including single cylinder locks, double cylinder locks, and interconnected locks. While they are primarily used on exterior doors, they can also be installed on interior doors for an added layer of security.
